Well, since everyone is asking and Elisha is too shy to tell, I'll reveal it!
It happened over last Christmas eve, when we were having some wine after dinner. He lifted up his glass for a toast, and said:"To our last Christmas as singles!" I couldn't respond for a second, and simply stared at him with my eyes wide open.
When I finally understood the hidden meaning behind his words, I hurriedly accepted his toast (by clinking my glass against his) just in case he changed his mind and asked:"Really ah???Really our LAST Christmas as singles ah???"
I was expecting him to say something like "just joking lah" but he didn't. And that was it! No going down on one knee, no flowers, not even a ring! (The ring came about 1 and a half months later on 11 Feb 2007) BUT, this is good enough for me and this is indeed the BEST Christmas present I can ever receive!
